
Zukauskas took his first steps in hockey with Zalgiris Kaunas, and at the senior level went on to defend the colors of Lithuanian sides Tigrai Kaunas, Kaunas Hockey, and Kaunas City, winning two Lithuanian championship titles.
Next came an action-packed overseas chapter in Lukas’ career. In Sweden, the Lithuanian forward played for Harnosand, Sollentuna, and Surahammar, in the USA, he represented the Springfield Jr. Blues, in Norway, he played for Gjovik Hockey, and in Romania, for Dunarea Galați and Haromszeki Agyusok. With the latter last season, our new player won a Romanian league bronze medal, playing 34 games and tallying 21 goals + 19 assists.
In addition, Zukauskas boasts significant experience playing for Lithuania’s U-18, U-20, and senior national teams. His international achievements include a World Championship Division 1B gold medal, while at the U-18 level, Lukas won gold twice, as well as one silver and one bronze in Division 2A.
