The 28-year-old defenseman has already taken part in his first training sessions with the team.
Klinecky is a product of the Czech club Pardubice. At the junior, youth, and university levels in his home country, he represented Mountfield, Motor, DDM, Dynamo, and Riders Univerzita.
Abroad, the defenseman has played for the American teams Valencia Flyers, Carolina Thunderbirds, Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, and Blue Ridge Bobcats, as well as Sweden’s Viking, Germany’s Moosburg, Slovakia’s Levice, Poland’s Zaglebie, France’s Neuilly-sur-Marne, and Lithuania’s Kaunas City.
In addition, Klinecky has appearances for the Czech Republic U-16 national team.
