Romi Huunonen

Romi Huunonen spent the majority of his career in his native Finland. At the junior level, he developed with Lukko, Sport, and Ässät, before gaining valuable experience in North America during the 2019/20 season, where he played for the New Jersey Rockets and Ontario Avalanche.

At the senior level, Huunonen established himself with RoKi in Finland’s Mestis league, spending the previous four seasons with the club.

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Romi Huunonen joined Kyiv Capitals.
