The 21-year-old forward of the Ukrainian national team will continue his career in the Optibet League.
Kovalchuk is a graduate of the Kharkiv hockey school. His senior hockey career has been entirely linked with Poland, where he has played for the second team of Unia Oswiecim, as well as Katowice, Naprzod Janow, and Sanok.
In addition, Mykhailo has represented Ukraine at the junior, youth, and senior national team levels.
Among the achievements of our newcomer is a silver medal at the Polish Championship in the 2023/2024 season, and three silver medals at the Division 1 Group B World Championships with Ukraine’s U18 and U20 national teams.
