Kyrylo Zhovnir

Kyrylo Zhovnir, a product of Kryzhynka School and its youngest coach, embarked on his hockey journey in Kremenchuk in 2013. He swiftly made his mark with notable stints at “Generals” Kyiv, MHC “Dynamo,” and “Donbas”. As a defenseman, Zhovnir showcased his prowess in the Ukrainian championships, tallying 36 points across 180 matches. Notably, he clinched the Ukrainian championship title with “Donbas” and earned medals with “Kremenchuk.” Zhovnir’s international endeavors include competing in the North American WSHL and representing Ukraine in two World Championships in Division 1B, securing gold in 2015/16. Currently, Kyrylo imparts his wealth of experience to young hockey talents born in 2014, nurturing their growth within Kryzhynka.
