Ihor Yurchenko

Ihor Yurchenko embarked on his hockey journey at Kryzhynka before making his mark with “Sokil”, “Berkut”, and teams abroad. After military service, he found success in Great Britain and Ireland before returning to Ukraine, where he continued his winning streak with “Sokil” and “Berkut”, securing numerous championships. As a key player in the national team, Ihor participated in world championships, contributing to Ukrainian hockey’s achievements. Transitioning to coaching after his playing career, he served as the director of Kryzhynka from 2005 to 2014. Presently, he holds the role of deputy director and coach of the youth team, sharing his wealth of experience with the next generation.
