The hockey players from the Kyiv took control of the meeting right from the beginning. In the opening seconds, Elen Alipova won the initial throw-in and passed to her sister Elizabeth, who put Golitsyna in a great scoring position, resulting in the first goal of the match. The pace of events remained rapid as the Capitals quickly doubled their lead. This time, it was Elizabeth Alipova who made the final shot, scoring her first goal in this championship. During the first period hosts scored one more time. Kopylova brilliantly intercepted the puck from her opponents and scored with a solo pass.
After the intermission, the team led by Yevhen Alipov continued to dominate, growing more and more confident on the ice. The Capitals struck again within the first minute of the period. Elizabet Alipova seized the puck from her opponent and scored her second goal of the match.
Later on, the Kyiv Capitals capitalized on their opponents unsuccessful actions near their own goal and scored their fifth puck. Kapralova took the shot, Kosich attempted to save it, but her deflection was stopped by the Moldovan. However, Ibrahimova managed to finish the play and the keeper of Prydniprovsk was powerless to stop it.
In the exciting match held at the Kyiv Capitals residential complex, the sixth puck was thrown by the hosts once again after the winning throw-in. Elen Alipova displayed remarkable skill and brought Golitsyna face to face, resulting in a double score. Before the second break, four more pucks found their way into the Moldovan goal. All the pucks taken were credited to sister Alipova’s account, with Elizabeth scoring three times and completing a five-trick in just twenty minutes. Elen also added one goal to her tally.
Continuing their strong performance, the Kyiv team didn’t stop in the third period and scored five more times. At the end of the game, Elizabeth Alipova emerged as the top scorer, bagging an impressive seven pucks. Dobrovolska, Harbuza, and Kosich contributed three more goals to secure a dominant win for the team. It was undoubtedly an impressive debut victory for the Kyiv Capitals.
In another match, the Panthers defeated the Sisters Kraken with a score of 13:1, showcasing their prowess on the ice. The second face-to-face match between Kyiv and Dnipro teams is scheduled for Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
