Please provide a brief analysis of the previous season for Kyiv Capitals.
Last season was truly fascinating and provided a fresh experience for me as it marked my debut in professional hockey. The journey was filled with countless smiles, joyful memories, albeit not devoid of setbacks. Yet, it was the unwavering support of my teammates that enlightened me on the invaluable lessons gained from this season.
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
During the spring-summer break, I stayed quite active. After taking the first week to relax, I then dedicated myself to preparing for the upcoming season. I am currently focused on enhancing my skills and continue to work towards my goals.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
I anticipate only victories in the upcoming season. We have grown stronger, familiarized ourselves with our opponents, and are diligently preparing to face them.
Serhii Chernenko
Please provide a brief analysis of the previous season for Kyiv Capitals.
In short, I think that the season was unsuccessful. In my opinion, with such lineup Kyiv Capitals could have performed much better, at the very least securing a spot in the playoff final.
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
I am currently preparing for the upcoming season in a typical manner. My training regimen includes various components such as cycling, TRX workouts, and gym sessions. Additionally, I am honing my skills on the ice with HC Arsenal.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
I anticipate a stronger performance from Kyiv Capitals in the upcoming season. I look forward to an equally thrilling experience, with numerous matches played in front of a live audience. I hope for the same level of excitement and competitive spirit as last year, and ideally, for the retention of the same number of participating teams.
Vladyslav Luhovyi
Please provide a brief analysis of the previous season for Kyiv Capitals.
Impressions are somewhat mixed. I am pleased to see such team emerge in Kyiv, where we have excellent conditions. While we began the season with a loss, things improved afterwards. However, post New Year, the performance level slightly declined. Though we hoped for medals, they eluded us. I view the previous season as a trial period, but there is room for growth and improvement!
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
During the summer break, I visited Mykolaiv to reunite with the family and friends before heading to Kherson, where I spent my childhood and a significant portion of the life (I was born in Crimea). In essence, I focused on addressing accumulated microtraumas, and subsequently commenced a regular gym routine. I express great gratitude to the soldiers of the Armed Forces, who give us the opportunity to train and play.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
One major advantage is the inclusion of seven teams in the upcoming season. The greater number of opponents promises to make the competition even more exciting. I eagerly anticipate the team gatherings and the commencement of the new championship. It’s time for us to progress!

Please provide a brief analysis of the previous season for Kyiv Capitals.
In my assessment, the 2023/2024 season presented significant challenges as it marked the team’s inaugural season. I estimate that we successfully accomplished around 65-70% of our season objectives. The last five matches and playoffs revealed some areas where improvement was needed. Nevertheless, an overall evaluation of the preceding game year suggests a relatively satisfactory performance.
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
I spent the break in a rather mundane way. In the first month, I rested, visited family, and went back home. Starting in May, I began going to the gym and training on ice.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
Certainly, expectations are high as seven teams gear up to kick off the new season. With an increase in matches and intrigue, the journey to the playoffs is bound to become more challenging. Nonetheless, I am confident that we will excel and deliver an outstanding performance.

We started well, but ended the season much worse than we could have.
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
During my fantastic summer break, I’m enjoying an active holiday filled with a variety of sports. I’m convinced that this diverse physical activity will greatly benefit me when the season rolls around.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
I anticipate the addition of another participant in the championship, which I believe will enhance the excitement. We are committed to giving our all, aiming to surpass our performance from the previous season by giving 101%.
Oleksandr Valkun
Please provide a brief analysis of the previous season for Kyiv Capitals.
Last season marked the debut for Kyiv Capitals. In my view, there was potential for greater success which unfortunately went unrealized. Perhaps a slight deficit in confidence and perseverance played a role. However, it’s not within my place to pass definitive judgment, as I am relatively young and lacking in extensive experience compared to other players.
How do you spend your spring-summer break?
I dedicate this break to focusing on self-improvement. My goal is to prepare diligently for the upcoming season, enabling me to contribute effectively to my team’s success on the ice.
What are the expectations for the upcoming season?
We want to take a step forward compared to the past season.
