The Finnish goaltender has become the team’s latest signing during the current offseason.
Huunonen has spent almost his entire career in his homeland, with the exception of the 2019/2020 season when he traveled to North America to defend the colors of the New Jersey Rockets and Ontario Avalanche.
At the youth and junior levels, our newcomer played for Lukko, Sport, and Assat. In senior hockey, Romi distinguished himself playing for RoKi, spending the previous four seasons in the Mestis division.
