The first thing we want to say after the results of the derby is that the Capitals coach can be satisfied by the power play. The nominal home team of the match played a lot 5 on 4 and scored six times in power play.
In the first period, the spectators saw only one goal. Goal scored Andrii Krуvonozhkin. Instead, the longer the teams played, the bigger the difference on the scoreboard got.
During the second twenty minutes, Capitals scored twice in power play. First, Chernenko played successfully on the finish after Panchenko’s shot, and then Kyiv Capitals failed to score during the 5 on 3, but Panchenko distinguished himself with the puck for the advantage of one hockey player. Before the second break, Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team increased its’ advantage thanks to a goal from Oliynyk.
Instead, in the third period, Capitals increased their pressure. As a result, Panchenko made poker, Tishchenko scored twice in the final twenty minutes, and Sekirko completed the score with the pucks of the Capitals.
Thus, the Vadym Shakhraichuk`s team in a great style complete their first ever victory in the championship of Ukraine. On the other hand, Tryzub can`t score in second match in a row.
Oleksandr Yakovenko’s team will play their next match on October 7, and their opponent will be another team from Kyiv. This time it will be Sokil. At the same time, Capitals will go to Vinnytsia next Sunday, where they will compete with Kharkiv Berserks.
