Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team will have one match during this week. For the third time, Pavlo Legachev’s team will be heading to Kyiv to play against Capitals. Our future opponents have recently undergone a rebranding and will now be known as Kolos Berserky-Patriot. It is worth mentioning that this team will represent Vinnytsia.
Both teams have already played against each other four times this season, with the Capitals emerging victorious on all occasions. The away matches resulted in scores of 6:0 and 9:2, while the home matches ended with scores of 13:0 and 6:4. The last face-to-face meeting, which took place in late December, was particularly intense. Berserks-Patriot initially led with a score of 3:0, but Kyiv Capitals managed to turn the game around in their favor during the second and third periods.
By the way, Yehor Bezuhlyi, who currently plays for the Capitals team, scored for Berserks in previous match in Kyiv. This upcoming game will mark the attacker’s first face-to-face encounter with his former team this season.
Both teams suffered defeats in their recent matches. Pavlo Legachev’s team was outplayed by Sokil with a devastating score of 0:11, while Vadym Shakhraichuk’s squad lost to Dnipro with a score of 0:3.
Undoubtedly, both teams are hoping to return the path of victory. However, Capitals are the clear favorites for the upcoming match. Nevertheless, it is essential not to underestimate Berserks-Patriots who have shown their potential in previous face-to-face meetings.
