Bio

Born on April 27, 1978, in Kharkiv, Tymchenko is a decorated Ukrainian forward with experience representing the Ukrainian national team, having participated in qualification tournaments for the Olympic Games and World Championships.

From 2016 to 2019, he worked with the Dnipro youth and junior squads, winning three gold medals in the U-16 and U-20 categories. He later served as an assistant coach and, since 2020, has been the head coach of the Kherson team.

In the 2021/2022 season, Tymchenko took charge of Kramatorsk, followed by a stint with the Turkish club Gumus Pantenler.

Over the years, he has also coached the Ukrainian U-18 and U-20 national teams, as well as the Turkish U-20 national team.

Since August 2025, Oleg Tymchenko has been the head coach of Kyiv Capitals.
