Born on February 24, 1997, in Jelgava, Latvia. Throughout his playing career, he competed in the Latvian and Estonian championships, winning silver medals, and also played at the junior level in the United States.
From 2020 to 2023, he worked within the structure of the Latvian club Kurbads, serving as a coach for youth and junior teams, assistant head coach, goaltending coach, and sports director.
Romanovskis also has experience working as a goaltending coach for the Latvian women’s U18 national team and as team manager for the Latvian women’s national team.
Since August 2025, he has served as the Goaltending Coach of the Kyiv Capitals.
