Yevhen Alipov was born on September 12, 1965, in Kyiv. He is a graduate of the Kyiv Sokol sports club.
He played for Ukrainian clubs such as HC “Mashynobudivnyk” (Kyiv), HC “Sokil” (Kyiv), “SHVSM” (Kyiv), HC “Dynamo” (Kharkiv), HC “Berkut-Kyiv,” HC “Dniprovski Vovky” (Dnipro), and HC “ATEK” (Kyiv).
He also played in Czechoslovakia for HC “Trinec” (Trinec), HC “Havirov” (Havirov), and HC “Slezan Opava” (Opava). In Poland, he played for “MKG Tisovia” (Tychy), and in the United Kingdom, he played for HC “Hull Stingrays” (Kingston upon Hull).
After finishing his playing career, he became a coach. He currently works as a coach at the SDYUSHOR “Kryzhynka” and serves as the head coach of the Ukrainian national women’s ice hockey team.
