Our club’s attacking prowess receives a boost as Yaroslav Panchenko, a notable player in Ukraine’s national team, joins the Kyiv Capitals. With preparations in full swing for the upcoming Premier season, our first team is excited to welcome another valuable addition to the squad.
Hailing from Kyiv, Panchenko brings a wealth of experience, having already showcased his skills in the Ukrainian championships. After a season in the Latvian league, where he represented the Lithuanian club “Energia” from Electronai, he now dons our team’s colors.
Yaroslav’s achievements continue to grow, as he garners recognition on the international stage. He earned a spot on Ukraine’s Student National team and later secured his place in the National hockey team for the World Championship Division IB in the 2022/2023 season.
Having played 170 games in the Ukrainian championships, Yaroslav demonstrated his scoring prowess with 24 goals and 31 assists. His arrival promises to add depth and strength to our lineup, further solidifying our pursuit of success in the upcoming season.
