The 35-year-old specialist from the Czech Republic will be joining our club.
Sedlacek is a product of the Zlin youth system, where he took the first steps of his professional career. In his homeland, he also suited up for Prerov, Mountfield, Berani, Sparta, Kometa, and Olomouc. It was with Olomouc that he wrapped up his playing career in 2025.
Jakub boasts a wealth of international experience, having played for Dinamo (Latvia), Bolzano (Italy), Slovan, Kosice, and Banska Bystrica (Slovakia), as well as Villach (Austria).
Throughout his career, the Czech keeper represented his country at the U-18, U-20, and senior national team levels.
Starting today, a new chapter begins in Sedlacek’s career as the goaltender coach for Kyiv Capitals.
