This year, more than 75 young hockey players from the Kryzhynka Sports School took part in the Winter Classic event, marking the continuation of a delightful tradition for both Kyiv Capitals hockey players and the athletes from the school.
Despite the challenging times facing by our country, the event’s objective remains clear: to uplift children’s spirits at the onset of winter holidays and allow them to experience a sense of camaraderie with professional hockey players.
Several Kyiv Capitals hockey players, including Serhii Chernenko, Nikita Liesnikov, Danylo Tyshchenko, Andrii Kryvonozhkin, Vladyslav Luhovyi, Mykola Dvornyk, Tymur Lapko, Matvii Mazko, Denys Plesovskykh, and Eetu Moksunen, who is currently on try-out, joined the event.
The holiday featured an engaging program for the children, including relay races, shootouts, and a 3×3 game. Following the activities, the young participants had the opportunity to engage in an autograph and photosession with their favorite hockey players and received delightful gifts.
The festive atmosphere was complemented by delightful treats from the Ponchyk Boy brand, enjoyed by both the children and attendees.
