The holiday will be held on October 12 and 13 at the VDNG ice arena.
The organizers of the event are Kryzhynka School and HC Kyiv Capitals.
On Saturday the action will start at 10:15. All willing girls will be able to train together with representatives of Kryzhynka School and Kyiv Capitals. At the same time, on Sunday at 12:50 a mini-tournament will be held with the participation of the teams Kyiv Capitals, Kryzhynka, Sea Wolves and Bulldogs.
The World Girls` Ice Hockey Weekend initiative was launched in 2011 and every time unites a number of countries in solemn celebrations. About forty participants are expected this year.
Other Ukrainian cities that will join the World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend will be Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.
