First of all, this match is important from the point of view of the standings, because both teams have only three points difference. So, if the Capitals win, they will be able to move from the third place to the first. At the same time, if Sokil wins, it will be able to further increase its` handicap over the other teams.
On the other hand, the Kyiv derby between teams that are determined to fight for the championship is gradually reaching a new level and is increasingly expected by fans. Undoubtedly, the moment of principle is also presents in it.
It should be noted that only Sokil and Kyiv Capitals played seven matches in the championship. This means that the remaining matches of the eighth round have already taken place.
