Last season, forward played 31 games for the Capitals and scored 39 points (5 goals and 34 assists) and made 71 shots on goal.
Serhii Chernenko started play hockey at “Kryzhynka” hockey school. He is well know as “Sokil” Kyiv player. As part of the “white and blue” Serhii won three championship titles, and he won another “gold” of Ukraine in 2014 with the now defunct “Kompanion”. The Capitals captain also added to his collection of awards with two Romanian championship triumphs with Dunareia in 2015 and 2016 and cemented his name among the 2019 Turkish Championship triumphs at Zeytinburn Istanbul.
