The Canadian forward and American defenseman are set to play in Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team for the 2024/2025 season.
During the recent international break, our club signed contracts with two new players.
Hu, a 28-year-old forward, started his hockey career in Canada before making stops in Heilongjiang and Kunlun Red Star in China, Manglerud in Norway, and the ECHL teams Norfolk Admirals and Reading Royals in the United States.
Quartarolo, a 25-year-old defenseman, originally from Sydney, Australia, moved to the United States at a young age to pursue his hockey career. He has played in various leagues in the US, as well as for the Australian teams Newcastle Northstars and Central Coast Rhinos. Quartarolo spent the last season playing in Finland for JHT.
Hu and Quartarolo have joined our team alongside three other foreigners: Deniss Berdniks, Eetu Moksunen, and Nick Vilardo. Vilardo is currently the Kyiv Capitals player but is expected to return to the team at a later date due to family circumstances.
