The 32-year-old forward will represent our team in the Optibet League.
Begovs began his career with Riga Hockey School, and in Latvia also played for Juniors Riga, HK Riga, Dinamo, Mogo, and Zemgale. Rustams also gained experience abroad with Kazakhstan’s Saryarka and Berkut, as well as Germany’s Ice Dragons. Last season, our newcomer played for Zemgale, where he recorded 35 points (12+23) in the Optibet League.
In addition, Begovs has experience representing Latvia’s U20 and senior national teams.
