Our club’s three games in the Optibet League are now behind us, and we are very pleased to see growing interest among fans in Ukraine and abroad. We were also glad to receive positive feedback from the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation and the International Ice Hockey Federation, who highly appreciated our work.

We want to express our deep gratitude to everyone involved, especially the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine, which showed great understanding of this step. Moving forward, we still have much work to do to be fully prepared for this new level of competition. We want to emphasize that our participation in the Optibet League is not a position against Ukrainian hockey but a way to promote it abroad. This gives our players valuable experience, helps raise the level of play, and contributes to the international recognition of Ukrainian hockey by showcasing the strength and professionalism of our athletes.

As for participation in the Ukrainian Championship, Kyiv Capitals are considering entering our farm team, Kryzhynka-Capitals. The announcement of the competition’s start came as a surprise to us, so the final decision on the roster will be made closer to the beginning of the season, depending on the circumstances and readiness of all parties involved – players, ice arena, and organizational conditions.

We remind everyone that all information about Kyiv Capitals can be found on our official website and social media pages.
