October 8, 19:00, Tallinn, Haabersti Arena

After a one-week break, the Capitals are back on the ice. Oleg Tymchenko’s team enters this matchup as the current leader of the standings.

Their opponent, for the second time this season, will be the Estonian side Panter. This time, the teams will face off in Tallinn. Unlike the Kyiv team, Mikko Maenpaa`s squad had a busy weekend, playing two games against Mogo/RSU. The first ended in a home win (6:4), while the second saw the Riga side come out on top (3:2).

At the moment, the Estonian team sits sixth in the standings with seven points. It’s worth noting that the game against Kyiv Capitals will be “Panter’s” sixth straight home fixture – a streak that began on September 20. However, it will end tonight, as the Tallinn club will head to Latvia over the weekend.

The only head-to-head meeting between the teams this season took place on September 17. In a hard-fought and low-scoring contest, our team came out victorious, winning 2:1.

Now, Mikko Maenpaa`s men will look to take revenge on home ice before embarking on a tough seven-game road trip. Meanwhile, the Kyiv side will aim to secure another two points to extend their stay at the top of the standings.
