The 28-year-old forward will spend the 2026/2027 season in the Optibet League.
The Lithuanian took his first hockey steps in Zalgiris, and at the adult level managed to play for Tigrai Kaunas, Kaunas Hockey, and Kaunas City.
In foreign championships, Lukas defended the colors of Swedish Harnosand, Sollentuna, and Surahammars, American Springfield Jr. Blues, Norwegian Gjovik Hockey, as well as Romanian Dunarea Galati and Haromszeki Agyusok. Playing for the latter last season, our newcomer appeared in 34 matches, recording 21 goals + 19 assists.
Among Zukauskas’ credentials, we also note appearances for the youth, junior, and national teams of Lithuania.
Among his personal accomplishments, it is worth mentioning a World Championship gold medal in Division 1B, while at the youth level, Lukas won gold twice, as well as one silver and one bronze in Division 2A. Throughout his club career, he won the Lithuanian Championship twice and earned bronze in the Romanian League.
