For the third time this season, we are set to witness a Ukrainian–Estonian matchup in the Optibet League.
Mikko Maenpaa’s team approaches today’s game sitting in seventh place. Over their last eight matches, the Tallinn side has earned only one point. Therefore, this new encounter presents an opportunity to break an unpleasant trend.
At the same time, Oleg Tymchenko’s men are on a six-game winning streak. Naturally, facing an opponent from the lower part of the standings, this run needs to be extended.
However, the previous home meeting for the Capitals proved to be quite challenging. Kyiv claimed a 2:1 victory, while the game in Estonia turned out to be far more open and eventful – an 8:3 win for our team.
Among the Tallinn roster, the best statistical performer is Nikita Fedorovits, who has scored seven goals and recorded eight assists.
Once again, the intrigue in the race for first place remains strong. Parallel to our match, Mogo/RSU and Liepaja will face off in Riga. That game will also directly affect the top of the standings.
So, we are looking forward to this evening.
