Optibet League. October 31, 13:30. Pinki, Inbox Ice Arena.
Saturday’s match will be the last for Oleg Tymchenko’s squad before the international break. Two consecutive defeats against direct competitors, Mogo/RSU and Zemgale/LBTU, leave our team with no choice but to start rectifying the situation and getting back on the winning track.
The opponent of Kyiv Capitals will be HS Riga/Dinaburga. The two teams have already met twice this autumn, with the Ukrainian representatives emerging victorious on both occasions (3:0 and 6:3).
The last head-to-head clash between the teams took place right here at the Inbox Ice Arena on October 14. Since then, Raimonds Vilkoits’ squad has played only one game, suffering a heavy road loss to Liepaja (3:10).
The Latvian capital’s representatives are also on a two-game winless streak. Therefore, both opponents will give their absolute maximum to snap their respective skids.
