Based on the results of the 2025/2026 season, Kyiv Capitals finished in fourth place.

Kyiv Capitals scored 192 goals during the regular season and added another 29 goals in the playoffs.

During the regular season, the Kyiv side conceded 109 goals, with an additional 30 conceded in the playoffs.

Successful quarterfinal

Oleg Tymchenko’s men navigated their debut playoff stage in the Optibet League with three wins and zero losses. The 7:2 victory over Prizma in the opening game was the team’s most decisive playoff win.

Productive defensemen

In the playoffs, our team’s defensemen combined for 29 points out of the team’s total of 78. Eduards Hugo Jansons led the team in this category, recording 11 points (8 goals + 3 assists).

Longest winning streak

In the playoffs, the Kyiv side secured four consecutive victories, while during the regular season, this streak reached as high as nine wins.

Top goal scorer

While we have already noted the top scorer of the playoffs, Lauris Bajaruns led the team during the regular season with 20 goals.

Top assistants

In the playoffs, first-line forwards Rustams Begovs and Martins Karsums each recorded 6 assists. Karsums also provided 27 assists for his teammates during the regular season.

Points (goals + assists)

Following the regular season, Lauris Bajaruns and Martins Karsums each finished with 45 points. In the playoff series, our captain (Karsums) added more points to his tally, bringing his total for the year to 51 points.

Best Goaltender

This title was awarded to Janis Voris by the Optibet League press office. Additionally, Voris was named to the team`s month nominations three times (the highest on the team). Notably, his fellow goaltenders Nazar Boiko and Maksym Duve each received such a nomination once as well.
