Kyiv Capitals have scored 141 goals and currently rank fourth in the league in this category. Ahead of them are Liepaja (144), Mogo/RSU (149), and Zemgale/LBTU (159).

In the matches played, our team has conceded 74 goals. Fewer goals have been allowed only by Mogo/RSU (73) and Zemgale/LBTU (61).

Our team holds the league record for time spent on the power play (219:28) and for goals scored with a numerical advantage – 44 goals (six of them in a 5×3 format).

Winning streaks extended

Over the course of the month, the Kyiv team defeated Lithuanian clubs Energija and Hockey Punks for the fourth time this season. At the same time, winning streaks against HS Riga and Estonia’s Panter were brought to an end.

Expansion of the foreign player group

In addition to players from Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, and Canada, Czech defender Daniel Klinecky and Italian forward Alberto Colli have joined the team.

Top goal scorers

The TOP-3 goal scorers on our team are Lauris Bajaruns (16 goals), Martins Karsums (15 goals), and Yang Hu (13 goals).

Top assist providers

The TOP-3 in assists includes players with 20 or more assists: Yang Hu (23), Martins Karsums (22), and Rustams Begovs (20).

The team leader by points remains Martins Karsums with 37 points (15+22). Close behind are Yang Hu with 36 points (13+23) and Lauris Bajaruns with 34 points (16+18).

Valentine’s Day at hockey

On February 14, Oleg Tymchenko’s team faces an important match against Zemgale/LBTU, which currently holds second place in the standings. The club’s Instagram page ran a Valentine’s Day promotion with Kyiv Capitals, the winner of which, together with a friend, will attend the team’s upcoming game.
