It is worth mentioning that tgames in Odesa was quite similar to matches in Kyiv which teams played three weeks ago. The second period proved to be the key to success for Capitals in both games, as they managed to score seven goals against their opponents. However, unlike the away matches where they scored only one goal, the home team this time doubled their score thanks to the outstanding efforts of Chernobrova and Nesterova.

As about the women’s team from Kyiv, they arrived to Odesa with squad of 10 players and two goalkeepers. Despite having a relatively small squad, Yevhen Alipov’s team showcased their expertise and maintained their attacking style of play. Their impressive performance led them to reach a three-digit number of goals in the championship, similar to the men’s team. Notably, Elen Alipova scored the monumental 100th goal for Kyiv Capitals, further solidifying their exceptional achievements.

In terms of productivity, the Alipova`s sisters, Elen and Elizabeth, stood out the most in the two meetings. Elen scored a total of 13 goals (4 in the first meeting and 9 in the second), while Elizabeth scored 9 goals (5 in the first meeting and 4 in the second). It is also worth mentioning the impressive poker play by Kosich, which was drawn by Nadiia in the first match. Unfortunately, the only setback for the visiting team was the injury sustained by goalkeeper Mariana Hamarnyk. We wish her a swift recovery!

As a result, Kyiv Capitals accumulated 18 points, placing them 6 points ahead of Panthers. The team from Kharkiv still has two matches against Prydniprovsk in reserve. Additionally, it’s worth noting that Yevhen Alipov’s team will face the Dnipro team in their upcoming championship matches, scheduled to take place in two weeks.
