Capitals more and more often found themselves in the opponent’s zone. However, they did not manage to open the account. It lasted until the end of the starting period. Oliynyk was the first on rebound after Shevchenko’s shot, giving his team a minimal advantage.

The second period began in the same scenario with the attacks of the hosts. But Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team scored the goal at the start of third period. Oliynyk set up Kryvonozhkin for a precise shot, and Andrii scored the second goal for the team. Despite this setback, Andrii Sriubko’s team showed resilience and determination, eventually leveling the game.

Tselohorodtsev displayed incredible skill by scoring a crucial goal after a well-placed pass. Shortly after Lialka equalized the game with his goals, so the spectators got an opportunity to see the overtime.

The intense match continued into a series of thrilling shootouts. Ultimately, Shevchenko and Berdniks scored for Capitals and only Lialka found the key to Haas` goal. So, the Capitals took a revenge.
