The 30-year-old Latvian forward has become the latest addition to our team.
Kristians took his first steps in hockey with the youth teams Lavina-Ogre and Valmiera, and at the age of 16, moved to Norway, where he represented Kristiansand, Tonsberg Vikings, and Nes IK. After that, our newcomer played for the American clubs El Paso Rhinos and Cheyenne Stampede, Estonia’s Tartu Valk 494, as well as Latvian sides Jurmala HASC, Prizma, Riga Hockey School, Lido, Olimp, Pirati/Ogre Juniors, and Zemgale.
In addition, Zelts has experience representing Latvia’s U18 and U20 national teams.
