The season in the Ukrainian championship continues, and the final series returns to Poltava region once again. Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team was unable to clinch the championship on home ice, but our guys will try to do this at the Iceberg Arena, where they won in the two previous matches of the series.
Meanwhile, Andrii Sriubko’s players celebrated their victories only in away matches and now want finally to make a present for their loyal fans.
In the last match, Kremenchuk played quite pragmatically, demonstrating good efficiency. The key factor in the success of the team from Poltava region was the successful play of the trio Abadzhian-Braha-Poperezhai, which scored all the goals, as well as the reliable game of Zakharchenko on the last line of defense.
Thus, Andrii Sriubko is unlikely to change the winning line-up. Instead, Vadym Shakhraichuk will face a certain dilemma. The mechanism and well-played fives, which worked for a long time, failed in the previous match. Whether to resort to substitutions or continue to rely on familiar schemes is solely the prerogative of the head coach.
Predicting something in this series is extremely difficult because it is quite paradoxical that out of six victories, only one was achieved on home rink. One thing we can say for sure is that on Tuesday we will have a fairly tough match where individual episodes will decide everything.
