Ivan made his first hockey steps in Kharkiv, starting his career with the local Rulav Odd. Later, Shamardin’s career took on an international stage, as he played for Hungary’s DVTK Jegesmedvek, Poland’s UHT Sabers, and Italy’s Alleghe, where he recorded 11 points (2 goals + 9 assists) in the 2024/2025 season.
Our new defender has also gained experience playing for Ukraine’s U18 and U20 national teams.
