The 31-year-old forward became the first newcomer to our team this offseason.
At the senior level, Korenchuk began his career with Kremenchuk, and he also managed to play for Donbas and Altair in the Ukrainian Championship.
Abroad, Korenchuk defended the colors of the Polish teams Torun, Tychy, and Zaglebie, as well as the British Milton Keynes Lightning.
Korenchuk also has extensive experience playing for the Ukrainian national team, with which he won bronze medals at the World Championship in Division IA, and twice more – awards of the same caliber in Division IB.
At the club level, Illia became the champion of Ukraine three times, won silver medals twice, and won bronze once. The Ukrainian forward also won a bronze medal in the Polish Championship once.
