Betzold’s first step with Kyiv Capitals was participation in a charity game against the amateur league team Enthusiasts, held as part of the Elite Ice Challenge initiative. In that match, Greg scored his first goal wearing the Kyiv Capitals jersey.
Betzold’s previous experience includes playing in various leagues in the United States and Canada at both junior and senior levels.
