Our team’s second opponent in Scotland will be last year’s EIHL bronze medalist, the Glasgow Clan. In the regular season, the squad led by Canadian coach Mike Sirant finished in eighth place, and in the very first playoff round, they defeated the regular-season winner, the Belfast Giants. However, this was followed by a defeat to the eventual champions, the Welsh side Cardiff Devils. In the third-place matchup, the Scots overcame the Manchester Storm to secure a spot on the podium.
It is worth noting that Sirant has been working in Glasgow since the 2024/2025 season, and last year he was officially appointed as the head coach.
