Yang joined the Kyiv Capitals roster twice during the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 seasons, defending the team’s colors in both the Ukrainian Championship and the Optibet League.
During this time, the forward proved himself to be a true professional and demonstrated outstanding personal qualities. Hu experienced all the hardships of wartime in Kyiv with us, while also taking important steps at a new level.
In the Ukrainian Championship, Yang tallied 23 points (13+10), and in the Optibet League, he recorded 19 goals and 30 assists, placing him among the team’s top 3 scorers.
