Today marks the start of the season 2024/2025 in Ukrainian hockey championship at the Iceberg Arena.
With over a month passing since the conclusion of the Cup of Ukraine-2024 in Kremenchuk, professional hockey is making its return to ukrainian arenas.
The opening match of the upcoming championship will feature a face-off between Kremenchuk and Dnipro. Alongside them, four more teams will compete in the tournament. Tomorrow, the main match of the first round will take place at the ATEK arena, where the reigning champion, Sokil, will face off against the current Cup of Ukraine winner, Storm-Odesa. The third match of the game week has been postponed to January. Originally scheduled as a match between Kyiv Capitals and Tryzub, but the last team was changed by Kryzhynka.
Notably, Vadym Shakhraichuk’s team will kick off their season on November 3 against Dnipro.
