Meanwhile, Elmo Aittola&#8217;s side could only field three lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start of the first period, the Vilnius host was penalized three times in quick succession, and on their third power-play opportunity, the visitors capitalized on the numerical advantage. Siekkinen reacted fastest during a scramble in front of the crease to poke the puck past Baltrunas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, that was only the beginning. Morozov and Sislannikovs extended the Kyiv Capitals&#8217; advantage before the first intermission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scoring in the second frame opened courtesy of another power-play conversion. Begovs produced a clinical strike from a sharp angle. Following that, Rustams&#8217;s teammates found the back of the net five more times through efforts from Honcharenko, Stradnieks, Siekkinen (completing his brace), and Brants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the final period, Sprukts registered another powerplay tally, while Honcharenko joined Siekkinen by grabbing his second goal of the night.
